Facebook and Instagram are among the first places consumers look to find information about a business.

They are searching for business hours, menus, offerings, services, reviews, and sometimes even a convenient place to ask questions. In most cases maintaining a presence on these platforms is just as important as having a website.

Social media marketing is one of the least expensive and most effective marketing methods, with an astounding potential to reach existing and potential customers.

Meet Kim

Hey, I'm so glad you're here! I'm Kim, a former teacher turned stay at home mom - turned Etsy seller - turned bookseller - turned social media manager. Yes, I am in fact an elder millennial.

After being told all of my life about my creativity, excellent written communication skills, and ability to build rapport, the world finally caught up and combined those skills into an actual career! Phew.

The teacher in me lives on, I want to help each and every business owner reach their potential. And my passion for small businesses runs deep having owned two!

When I'm not working (which let's face it, given it's social media and I'm pushing 40 it's kind of a lot) I'm spending time with my husband Jason, our two young boys, our dog and two kittens.

I love being outdoors, decorating, and music. Tastes range from classic rock to emo bands that have song titles that don't make sense.

I love going to restaurants a little too much, Angry Orchard, Stella, Blue Moon, and coffee any which way.

The most controversial thing about me is that How I Met Your Mother is my comfort show.  *shrug*
